Oh what a beautiful Mornin'!
A bit of "Oklahoma" for you there. I had a really nice weekend. It was just perfect weather. I didn't get the house cleaned as I'd planned to. I couldn't be pulled back inside to do it! We went to the park Saturday and rode bikes. Then we rode around on the sidewalks of some neighborhoods close by...and the smell of chestnut trees filled the air (UGH)...it was a lot of fun. I have become a bike-riding fanatic. I have finally found my favorite form of exercise. Unfortunately, there is only one bike between Jessie and I (and its Leia's, really) so we have to take turns riding it! Oh well, walking is good exercise too. But my favorite day was yesterday...right after church we went to a different park..its right by the high school in town. We took a picnic lunch, then the kids played while Jessie and I played frisbee. We could've been on the cover of a "Family Circle" magazine or something (just kidding). Jessie and I took turns spinning Lily and Seth on the merry-go-round. Jessie (the fastest spinner) was spinning them really fast at one point, and Lily, who was standing up on it and spinning at a great speed said, "Daddy, there seems to be a lot of you!" haha Then a BUNCH of other kids came for a birthday party, so we got our bikes out and rode around the high school. Poor Seth got overheated and started coughing his head off, so we detoured into the football field and took our shoes off and walked around in the grass. It was just so...one of those days where everything is right as is should be. It was nice. We all got a little sunburned, as there was not much shade...after riding around a little more, we went to Sonic and got some slushes. Much to our delight, it was happy hour and they were half off! Very nice.
Then we went to Kim's (after getting a "Come over, I'm bored!" phone call) and Jessie and Seth played "Kingdom Hearts" with Becca while Lily, Kim and I sacked out and watched Mary Poppins. Then I got to choir practice just in time. Ooh man I was so out of tune last night. We're practicing for our Easter Cantata, and the songs just seem to be really hard to keep up with...and I tried to take my voice some places it should never try to go again!
Seth was quite happy not to have to go to school today. I'm hoping the weather will be nice Wednesday so we can go back to "the duck park" (Ballard) for a while. And I still think we might go bowling (yay bumpers!). So I hope everyone has a good week!

Sounds like you had a good day, I love beautiful days like yesterday! Thank goodness for Spring!
I'm glad you had such a wonderful day. I don't know how you managed to do so many things between church and choir practice. It sounds like fun - all of it. I was lazy all day and sat outside on the patio and read.
Love, Mom
I loved the weather yesterday too! I took Olivia outside and let her play in the water (she didn't get in the water, she just played with water. She loves pouring water and anything to do with it.) Madison was with my mom. Anyway, I'm glad ya'll had a great weekend. We went to the park in Amory Friday evening. We went to the one by the school. The girls had alot of fun. I remember when they had that swimming pool open when I was a kid. Those were the good ole days!
We are having some beautiful weather! Bike riding sounds fun, bgut I've gotten too old. I'm glad you had a good week-end! I got Noelle for the week-end and had Cole yesterday. He is so good! I hope it keeps up. Love, Aunt Daphne
I love spring too. All the trees and flowers look SO beautiful right now.
Kelly, I drive past that park on my way home from work every evening. I probably passed by you on Friday! Seth and Lily love the water too. I'm looking forward to taking them to that sprinker/fountain thing downtown in Tupelo. Do you ever take your girls there in the summer?
I miss Cole! I'm glad to hear he's doing good and being a good boy. :)I talk to Noelle on the phone sometimes. She always tells me "I at my Mama hawse!" She's so cute.
And Mom, your day didn't sound half-bad either! :)
When I was going home for lunch Saturday, I saw a crowd of children playing in that fountain on Main St. They were small children with adults. I thought it was a little soon to be doing that even though it was pretty warm that day. They (the children)had on bathing suits and were in the water.
Mom
We took the girls to that fountain thing last year. Olivia was the only one old enough to play in it, but she was so young she was scared of it. Maybe we can take them this summer. It's a really neat idea.
I like the name Noelle. I think I'll tell David about it.
I love the name Noelle too! It's my cousin Amber's daughter's name. (So that'd be my 2nd cousin) I could discuss names all day!!! Have you got any favorites so far? (names that is)
Well, we like Rylee for a girl...but I like that better for a middle name. David likes Claire too. And he likes the name Benjamin David for a boy. I like Andrew David. So I don't know about which we'll choose! :) We're still just throwing around a few names right now. We probably won't choose this time until we know if it's a boy or girl. With my other 2 I had the names picked out at the very beginning. I just can't decide what I like this time!
I like all those. I really like Claire alot. I guess the hardest part of picking a name is for Mommy and Daddy to agree on one! I'm sure it'll be easier once you know if its a boy or a girl. :)
Kelly, I didn't know you were expecting.. Congratulations! Noelle's full name is Daphne Noelle Riley. Daphne is after my mom of course, and I just really like the name Noelle. I went to school with a girl named Noelle and always loved the name. I decided on it around Christmas time, but Noelle was a february baby.
that does sound like a lovely weekend! I was planning to come see you on Wednesday.. Will that be okay or do you already have family plans?? it doesn't matter to me. I will email you. LOVE YOU
