A slightly crazy 25 year old with a great husband and two wonderful kids. The only reason one would want to read my inner thoughts is complete boredom or unconditional love.

This is the reason I am sleep-deprived today. We rented this Playstation game, Kingdom Hearts...its so much fun to play! Its kind of like the game Final Fantasy, which is a role-playing game but it has Disney characters in it too. You get to go to different worlds, like Olympus (Hercules) and to Beast's castle...last night I was in the 100 Acre Woods with Winnie the Pooh and he was doing his "stoutness exercises"! It was so cute! Sometimes the characters join you while you are in their worlds and help you defeat the "enemies". Last night, I had to battle "Hydra", that thing that starts with one head, but when you cut it off, it grows a million in its place! It took forever to beat. Anyway, its fun...the kids like watching it, its kind of like watching a bunch of Disney mini-movies!

Jessie went back to work today. He still had fever last night, but this morning it was gone, so he went in...he really didn't have too much of a choice, I guess, because his boss called him and was like, "Are you coming in today? Two of the salesmen are out!" then proceeded to give him a list of places to go and things to do. So I'm glad he was feeling better this morning. (!) I also got onto him about throwing away all that cough medicine (since he was better and all- haha). I said, "WHY did you throw away all that cough medicine?" and he said:

"Because no one was sick."

Sigh. Meanwhile Seth is coughing his poor little head off. I definitely plan to take him to the doctor sometime this week. And I'm still hoping none of us contract strep throat..I read yesterday that its passed through "droplets" (gross!) - through sneezing, coughing, breathing, etc. And it can live for a short time on surfaces...I told Jessie to keep his "droplets" to himself!

I hope that the rest of you all don't get it! We have a playstation and hardly ever play it. Maybe we need to rent some games!

Some things are so gross to know about (such as droplets) but necessary to know to try to protect ourselves from germs. I just love it when someone needs help with the computer after coughing and sneezing all over it. Or they borrow a pen and then bring it back after you've seen them wipe their nose with their hand. (I hope no one is eating while they read this)

I hope that Jessie doesn't get worse from going back to work to soon, and that the rest of you do not come in contact with his droplets (Ha). Yuck! Aunt Daphne

hahaha I know that word "droplets" sounds so gross!! I hope he was ok to work today. He said he felt a good bit better, but his throat was still pretty sore. And Mom, I know what you mean about the computers and pens. I always hate having to put my hand on the mouse to log off the computer or something after someone particularly gross or sickly has been on the computer. We used to have these nifty sanitizing hand wipes at work but we ran out of them quickly!
Kelly, I didn't play playstation very much either until we rented this game...now I want to play it as soon as the kids go to bed..Jessie and I have to duke it out over the playstation! haha Once we turn it back in, life should go back to normal. :)

I've never had a playstation, but I know they are very addicting. Years ago I would stay up until after 2 am some mornings (when I had to get up and be at work the next day) playing Mario Bros. I guess things have progressed alot since then, huh? Aunt Daphne

Things have progressed a lot since Mario...but it's still my favorite. And I know exactly what you mean about staying up until all hours of the night! I was an only child, so I grew up with Mario as my best friend. I was more than addicted. :) I've continued to play it through the years and it was just last year that I finally beat it. (Super Mario Bros. 3, that is)

Oh I used to play Mario endlessly too. When I was young, like under 10 yrs old, Jody would lock his door to keep me out of his room (and away from his beloved Nintendo), but as soon as he would leave I would open his door with a match (haha) and blissfully play his Nintendo until I heard him come back. But Laura, I don't think I ever did beat Super Mario 3! Or 2 for that matter. haha

I remember you breaking into Jody's room all the time! It was so funny! Didnt you keep the match on top of the door frame? I remember he hid the key or something up there. And Mama, when did you stay up playing Nintendo?? I guess I was asleep and that's why I had no idea! LOL! Now I know where I get it from!

These comments are so funny. They all have the word 'droplets' in them. I guess that's the theme of the day. I used to love to play Mario Bros. on Jody's Nintendo, too. And even before that I loved Pacman on Kim and Jody's Atari that Mama and Daddy bought them for Christmas. I don't know how to play the advanced games of today.

Hey. I know you had good reason when you first did it, but do you mind removing the word verification?? It always messes me up. For some reason it just gives me verification after verification, and sometimes I just have to repost all together! GRRR! But it's your blog, so it's up to you lol...

Wow, so many comments! :) I loved Mario Brothers. We had a Super Nintendo but I accidently broke the connector wire and they don't sell them anymore. Or at least not at Wal-Mart. Do you know where you can get one? Probably on E-bay! Sorry I just answered my own question. :) Have a good day! And watch out for droplets!

We do still have that other Playstation actually Amber. I'll ask Jessie where he put it. And yes, for you, I'll remove the word verification, but I'm putting it back up if I get any stupid spam!
Its so sad and gross that the theme of my blog and comments is "droplets"! Yuck! heehee
Kelly, have you looked on amazon.com for the connector wire? You can get almost anything there. :)
Noone else say "droplets"! lol
