Shut up Bernie, just shut up!
Haha, that comes from one of my favorite Andy Griffith episodes, as I'm sure you probably knew. The one with "the girls"...the one goofy, giggly, high pitched girl, and the other with the impossibly deep voice, "Hii, dooollll" haha. It came on last night when I got home from work. I love Andy Griffith! I also love the part where Andy gets aggravated with Barney and HE tells him" Shut up Bernie, just shut up!"
Also on television last night, was The Office. It was SO funny. If you don't watch it you really should. It might take a few episodes to get into it, but it is so hilarious! There's this one annoying guy, Andy, who recorded himself doing 4 harmonizing parts of "Rockin' Robin" on his cell phone (using his computer) and he ended up annoying everyone so much on the show last night, that they played a prank on him. Jim and Pam (the romantic leads!) swiped his cell phone and Jim lifted up a panel in the ceiling, threw the cell phone in it so it landed sort of over Andy's head and kept calling his cell phone! So over the whole show, you kept hearing Andy's voice(s) singing "Tweedle deedle dee, Tweedle, deedle dee, Tweedle deedle dee!" It was SO funny. It eventually made him so crazily mad that he punched a hole in the wall. Those are just some of The Office antics. It's an awesome show.
Oh, to change the subject, Jessie and I -well, mostly Jessie- made up a budget last night. It probably comes as no suprise to anyone that we constantly have money problems, so last night we sat down and said, "ok let's work this out." And I was AMAZED that we had money , after bills and our tithes are paid, left to put aside for car repair, clothing, savings and (my favorite) fun.(!) Not a lot, mind you, but something's better than nothing. I told Jessie he should become an accountant or something. We've decided, especially with the "fun" money -and some of the other categories-, to have an allotted amount and once its gone for the month, it's gone. So that way we won't overspend on eating out or whatever it is all our money goes to. I really think it will work, and I'm so excited. I've never been this excited about a budget before! But it'll be really great not to have to worry, "Do we have enough to cover this, or that?" you know what I mean.
Tomorrow is the big birthday bash. Last night Jessie and I also sat down and wrote down all of the people who might be coming, including ourselves and the kids. It came to 35! And its all family! Yikes. But I don't think everyone we wrote will be coming. Aunt Daphne, are you coming? Amber said you probably won't, but that Emily might. I'm not sure about Jessie's cousins either. Anyway, it'll be fun. Lots of chaos, haha. So, its promising to be a busy weekend. I hope everyone else has a great weekend. :)

No, I'm sorry, I feel like a terrible aunt. Carrie is supposed to be in the Charity Ball (it's a fund raiser for the Junior Auxilliary). Seniors are the princesses, and she has to have a formal. It is February 10th so we don't have alot of time. She has to be at work at 3 Saturday afternoon, so we're going to Jackson that morning to look for a
dress. But I know Lily's party will be fun! They are growing up so fast. I bet she is excited!
Love-Aunt Daphne
And there might even be enough money left in that budget for a baby!? haha...
Have a good birthday party tomorrow! I know how it is to have crowded parties. It's fun but we never seem to have enough room in our house!
Don't feel like a terrible aunt! We understand! That's neat that Carrie will be a "princess". She always thought she was one anyway! (haha just kidding!)
Haha Kelly I've thought about the baby issue too. I guess we'll cross that bridge if (or when) we come to it! And thanks,I'm sure Lily will have a good party, she always likes to be the belle of the ball!
I hope the party is lovely. And congrats on your new budget. I wish I could formulate one to stay on. I know we'll have to if we ever have kids.
tell jessie to be my accountant
