"The only other sound's the sweep, of easy wind and downy flake" -Robert Frost

I just heard that we might get sleet and snow on Wednesday afternoon! Apparantly I'm the last to know! Where have I been? With my head stuck in the clouds as usual, I guess. I'm excited about the snow part, but I don't want the ice to strike!! Hopefully it won't be a repeat of some of our previous ice storms...no electricity, icy roads...I was always a kid when those happened before, so it was kind of an adventure for me then. You know, doing everything by candlelight, listening to the radio...it kind of forced you to spend time with your family! Now though, being a parent (and a grown-up), it worries me! Luckily we have gas heaters, so we'll have heat regardless. No hot water or electricity would be very bad though. I hope everyone stays safe and warm.
Lily has been acting so clingy, still. When I drop her off at the babysitter's, since Friday, she's been crying and grabbing onto me so I won't leave. It's breaking my heart! :( I don't know why she's doing this all of a sudden. I asked her last night about it, but she just said she didn't want me to leave. So I don't know. I also had a talk with Seth last night...apparantly he hit a girl on the bus yesterday! A big girl (as in, an older girl) he said...apparantly he wanted to sit in a certain seat but she wouldn't move over for him so he hit her. So..we had a talk about it, so hopefully that will be that. Until the next time. No, just kidding, hopefully he will refrain from hitting girls in the future. Even big ones. :)

I'm surprised! Seth always seems so sweet and quiet. Actually, I know he doesn't need to hit people, but I'm glad to know that he doesn't let people run over him. You see-I'm all for OUR family!!(Ha! Ha!) Aunt Daphne

I really hope we don't get ice! We only have electric heat in our house...well, we have electric everything. So we'd probably have to move in with my parents for a few days if that happened!

I think it's kinda funny that he stood up to that older girl. At least you know he won't let them bully him. :) haha, I know he can't be hitting ppl though.
