Ramblings
I had to drag myself out of bed this morning. Why does it seem the earlier I go to bed, the sleepier I am in the morning? One of the mysteries of life, I guess. :)
Nothing, absolutely nothing of interest happened yesterday. Kim and I did decide that we were going to try to join the Wellness Center sometime later this week. We're going to be buff! haha
The revival at church started last night, but honestly - and I hate to admit this- I forgot about it. And by the time I got home, it was time to be there. Which would've been fine if I'd been prepared (and remembered). So I'm going to try to go tonight. I like revivals; they're usually fun and they lift your spirits. You leave feeling renewed. I got saved at a revival, in fact. And usually when we have revivals at our church, our guest songleader is this larger than life, wonderfully sweet and happy-faced man from another local church named Brother Rob. He is just the cutest, sweetest, roundest man you'd ever see. His face just shines and beams, and you can tell just by looking at him that God is in his life, fully and completely. He was there when I got saved that night (about a year and a half ago) and after the service, he said, "Hey Sister!" which I thought was very cool. :) Anyhoo, I'm not sure if Bro. Rob is going to be here this week or not. I've thought about visiting his church just to see him in action and get some of that positive energy that shines through him! I haven't yet though. He's a model of where I'd like to be in my faith. It's so refreshing to be around people like him.
The RR Festival is this weekend! I love the RR Festival! :) Does anyone know what the weather is supposed to be like? I haven't looked yet. We're also going to visit Jessie's family Saturday...which is good, cause we haven't been out there in a while...its just the drive. About a 2 hour drive there and another one back home. I think we're planning to head out Sat. morning and come back Sat. afternoon or evening for the Festival. So it'll be a busy Saturday (what else is new?).
Ok, I went and stood by Laura a minute ago, who is eating some pizza, and now my stomach is churning with hunger. From one whiff of a pizza! I'm very easily influenced, huh? :)
Must...go...eat....

Sounds like you have a busy weekend planned! I'm not sure what the weather is supposed to be. I think I saw that it may rain :( That wouldn't be good! Maybe it won't.
Eating pizza early in the morning? That doesn't sound so good. I can't eat pizza in the mornings.
Oh Kelly, I've eaten pizza for breakfast many, many days...but in particular for the past two :) LOL! And I hope it doesn't rain this weekend...pooey!
And Bro. Rob sounds very cool. I knew a man like that..Bro. John..I met him on a mission trip in Mobile, AL. Coincidentally, he was a song leader too! He was very jolly and round and was always carrying this huge cup (looked like 1/2 a gallon) of sweet tea...well, he carried it when we weren't in church :) Anyway...funny man!
I saw the weather. They're expecting it to rain Friday(25% chance) and Saturday(55% chance). That stinks!
Yes, unfortunately it's supposed to rain Saturday. Maybe it will hold off until late that night, although that's not the prediction. We're planning to go to the RR Festival too. In fact, I traded Saturdays so I could go. I don't think we went last year because we had just come back from Birmingham.
And, Laura, I love pizza for breakfast too.
Mom
No not rain this weekend! I remember one RR Festival weekend when Seth and Lily were little and we went and had Lily in a stroller with the sunvisor over her head. It was SO hot that day, we couldn't stay very long. The sun was just beating down. Last year it was windy, chilly and rainy. And this year its going to be rainy and..warm? I still haven't looked! Weird MS weather.
Wow, Mrs. Beverely...I didn't realize it had already been a year!!
