Thanksgiving bells are ringing
Two weeks till Thanksgiving! And then Christmas. Who let this year pass by so fast? Who did it? I tried my best to push it back, slow it down, but I think that only made it pass by faster. Halloween seems like a distant memory already.
I am still sick. Trying to get over this junk. My housework and writing have both suffered dearly, b/c I just don't feel like doing anything! I attempted to write an autumn-y poem last night, but I just couldn't get it right, so I sighed exasperatedly, gave up, and watched "Journeyman" instead. I'll try harder today. :)
I'm trying desperately, also, to figure out Christmas finances in my head. Is this plauging anyone else? Like who all you have to buy for and can you AFFORD to buy for all those people? It seems like the list grows every year. I try not to get too caught up in that aspect, b/c I don't like stressing out about such a wonderful holiday, but still...its something you worry about till its done. I did go to Dirt Cheep the other day and buy a good bit of stocking stuffers for Seth and Lily...so that's one thing down! The thing about Dirt Cheep is that the name is true, some of the stuff in the store is literally lying in DIRT. or is DIRTy. You just have to dig through all the mounds of stuff and usually there are a few things in there that are worth buying, and for an incredible bargain. So its kind of my new favorite store. Despite the dirt. :)

Yeah the dirt sucks, but it can be a really fun store! I'll never forget the day I bought my $3 bra... ahhh... Yeah Christmas is worrying me as well.. Let's just say, Santa Claus will make a quiet entrance this year. I'm also gonna have to ask to be taken off of the "name-drawing" list. I can't afford to buy any extra presents! My limit this year is $10 (that includes ALL gifts... poor Noelle)! Like I said, Santa is broke :(
I just now read this...haha..
I need to go to that store! I've never been.
I know what you mean about no money for Christmas. AH!
